Triple One
Triple One in Gardenvale is mixed use development comprising a ground floor office and ten spacious apartments spread over five levels.
The site located within the small Gardenvale shopping strip. The strip comprises fine grain office and retail buildings, interspersed with warehouse and residential.
In combining two sites to construct a larger building we needed to complement this fine grain.
The façade is broken up into a series of angled white cubes, encompassing the four balconies pushed to the street wall. These cubes divide the façade, giving the impression of two narrower buildings, rather than one wide façade.
The upper levels are recessed, again emphasising a three-storey street wall, and allowing the upper levels to disappear beyond.
To soften the façade further, plants cascade from scattered planter boxes.
As with much of our apartment projects, these were designed at a high spec, with owner occupier in mind. They all have generous living spaces, and the top floors command sweeping city and bay views.
Whose country is this project on?
